I found someone to test FATXplorer v2.0’s new chain map cache system, which I designed. Here are the results:

FATXplorer v1.2

Allocation Speed: ~5 minutes

Cluster Write Speed: ~3 minutes

Total file injection time: ~8 minutes

FATXplorer v2.0

Allocation Speed: 3 seconds

Cluster Write Speed: ~2 minutes

Total file injection time: ~2 minutes and 3 seconds!

Tests were conducted on a 750mb file on a 250gb HDD.
